Visit No. 5

Mommy and I had another routine check-up with the doc. There wasn't any exciting ultrasound pictures or anything like that. Doc said I didn't another one of those ultrasounds unless he suspected complications. Mommy was a little sad she couldn't see me but glad in a way that the pregnancy is going well. Doc asked Mommy to go for a routine glucose level testing for any diabetic symptoms. As usual, Mommy and Daddy had tonnes of questions to ask the doc. Doc said the I should be able to hear voices now through mommy's stomach. To tell the truth I was getting a little bored listening to mommy's voice only. Not that I don't love mommy very much but I want to know who else is usually around her. Daddy showed the doc pictures of the ultrasound. He was proud of it again. I'm starting to think my parents are just a little off :)

Mommy complained about me moving too much. Doc asked mommy is she's been eating a lot of carbs ie. chocolates and sugary stuff. Mommy just smiled and looked just a little guilty. Doc said to reduce just a little because the carbs as in any person just makes anyone hyper-active. Mommy was not to thrilled about not eating her favourite food. Then mommy said she doesn't mind me being hyper-active all the time anyway.

Mommy has also come to the realization that I just don't kick when requested. If anyone tries to touch mommy I stay so quiet and behave myself. Sometimes I do that even to Daddy. Mommy thinks she's might go crazy if I don't start behaving myself. According to Mommy, it's going to be a long 20-odd years. She says she already sees the mischievousness in me. I call that being an individual and having an opinion :) :) ;)

This is my first tag. Don't really understand the tagging concept but hey it seems like a fun thing to do and Mommy agreed to write it for me on my blog.

SIX WEIRD THINGS ABOUT ME

1. I'm not officially a real person and already have blog. It's mind boggling to some.
2. I love bugging my mommy when she's resting or trying to sleep. I need some excitement in life and a hobby.
3. I'm currently perfecting the art of somersaulting, kicking and punching when not requested by mommy.
4. When I get really hungry I make sure mommy knows it's time to eat. Mommy think I'm just like her. Love eating regardless of time.
5. I spend too much time memorizing mommy's organs. It's a weird hobby I've accquired.
6. I'm still working on myself. Learning all the development skills and developing me, myself and I.

Seriously, I'm still living inside mommy. I'm learning and acquiring new skills everyday. Mommy says I've got a long long long way to go in life :)

Happy 2nd Anniversary

I think I should be wishing my parents Happy Anniversary. They had just celebrated their 2nd anniversary. That means they've been married for 2 years now. That seems like a long time doesn't it? I've been asking mommy lately to tell me more about how they met and all that old bedtime stories. She said, "Wait till you come out and I'll entertain you with all the stories ;)". So much for that.

I think mommy and daddy bought each other flowers. They were really pretty. Mommy was complaining about the prices of flowers since Valentines Day is around the corner. Mommy explained Valentines Day is a hoax made by the flower and chocolate people. The prices of flowers especially roses are expensive. Chocolates are also overpriced. Mommy was looking for some to eat but she was shocked with the selling prices.

Mommy and Daddy are going to celebrate their anniversary with the family this weekend. I hope Mommy picks a nice place for dinner. So far, I like the kind of food she's been eating. It so yummy most times :) I'm still learning the different types of taste and flavours.

Daddy built me a snowman last weekend. Daddy said he will help me write another blog about the day he built me the snowman. I hope Daddy and I get talking to each other on this pretty soon.

Random Thoughts

This is a picture of mommy taken on January 14, 2007. Looks like she's getting just a little bigger :) The last few days it's been really cold weather. So much of ice, sleet and snow. I don't know what that means but mommy keeps saying it again and again. I should read up on the dictionary. I think that's were you find meaning of words you don't know or understand :)

It's funny listening to mommy talk most times. I don't understand half the words she uses. Sometimes she talks too much sometimes she just doesn't at all.

Even though the weather is cold Mommy keeps herself really warm. That way I stay warm as well. I like it that way. Mommy always turns blue when it's cold. Daddy finds that amusing.

Daddy has been busy lately with work and everything else. He hasn't had much time to spend with me. Hopefully this weekend we can do something together.

I've been as usual kicking and punching. There isn't anything else to do inside mommy's tummy anyway. It's rather dark if you know what I mean. Maybe one of these days I'll start memorizing mommy's organs. It might be a interesting hobby :)

I've also been wondering if anyone is reading my blog lately. Nobody seems to be leaving comments or anything ;) Mommy says everyone is reading but they're just lazy to write comments. Hmmm what does lazy mean??????? I was worried nobody loved me anymore ;)

My Routine (as what mommy says)

I think I've got it figured it for now. Mommy calls it my routine. I call it I'm bored and need some excitement in life. Let me explain futher....

During the day I sleep most of time. Mommy is always busy at work so I sleep. She moves alot. It always feels like someone is rocking my craddle. Very comfy ;)

When mommy gets home and rests. That's when I wake up and start my routine. She's usually sitting around watching the television or surfing the internet. It gets really boring when mommy's not doing anything. So that's when I start kicking or punching or moving just to get her attention. Sometimes I get lucky and she'll pay some attention and start talking to me. It's very nice to hear mommy talk to me. She always treats me like a real person. She's always calling me names like my little hyperactive angel or my hyperactive sunshine. I wonder what they mean???? Maybe someday mommy will explain.

I usually get hyper active when daddy's around. I like having him around. Daddy always gets excited when I kick or punch mommy. He usually talks to me in secret. Mommy never know what we talk. Sometimes I don't understand myself what Daddy says. Daddy talks funny at times. Mommy thinks daddy can calm me down by putting his hand on mommy's tummy. Ha..ha.. It's not true. I just like having daddy around so I keep quite just for a while. It makes everyone happy.

I'm still learning what's right and wrong. Mommy thinks I'm preparing her for later when I'm born; like the 2-hour feedings and uncalled for temper cries in the middle of the night. She's getting into the routine with me. It's good when we can work together.

Just in case anyone was wondering about what my name meant. I was curious as well for a while until mommy explained it to me. Now I feel very pleased and satisfied. It does sound a little majestic for a tiny person like me right? Mommy says it's ok and it'll grow on me. I hope too :)

Ob/Gyn Visit

Another Ob/Gyn visit. Just another routine visit. This time I guess it was exciting for mommy and daddy because they knew more about me and had seen me. Mommy was very proud of the pictures of me. She was showing it off to everyone she knew. So much for privacy!!!

The nurse as usual checked mommy's weight, blood pressure and pulse. Mommy had gained almost 5 pounds. Good news which means I'm getting bigger I think. The doc said I'm still really tiny but I feel like I'm a big kid. He thinks I'm on cruise control. Doing pretty good inside. Did someone just compliment me?????? That's a first. I guess I just have to be on my best behaviour from now on. Does this mean I should stop kicking mommy really hard? I kicked her really hard yesterday 3 times. I had to stretch. It felt so good.

The doc let mommy and daddy listen to my heartbeat again today. This time daddy was more prepared. Daddy bought a tiny recording machine to record the heartbeat. The doc called daddy a geek! I thought it was so funny. Daddy also told the doc that he's getting a baby boy. Proud moments I think for daddy :)

Mommy and Daddy talk to me all the time. They say the funniest things most times. I try to react by moving inside so mommy knows I'm listening.

I'll update more often if mommy lets me write. Doc decided that's I'm only now 18 weeks 5 days. I guess I'll just come out when I think it's time :)
