Tagged

I've been tagged by Alesha. I'm trying to spare a few moments because Alesha did a personal request.

Here are 8 random things about me.

1. I like listening to music especially Indian music while trying to sleep.
2. I liking flirting with girls of any ages.
3. I'm a tech junkie (as how Mommy would put it). I like cameras, cellphones, and computers.
4. I share my birthday with two other of Mommy's friends; Nichole and Mary-Ann.
5. I like going out with my parents and wonder around malls; people-watching.
6. I have to taste everything I can get hold of.
7. I know how to get my way around Mommy and Daddy.
8. I love tasting new food everytime we go out to eat.

I'm tagging Nunu. I know Nunu has more random things about herself than me.

Human Touch HT-7450 Zero Gravity Massage Chair

I've figured out Daddy's obsession with massage chairs. Everytime Daddy finds one of these chair in the mall or anywhere. Daddy usually sits down to enjoy the massage. Daddy even let me try the chair once. It was so ticklish. Maybe when I'm a little older.

Human Touch HT 7450 Zero Gravity Massage Chair is another addition to their already extensive line of massage chairs and products. This incredible chair reverses the adverse effects of the gravity on the body. It also incorporates unique massage technology called the Quad Roller System. Human Touch HT 7450 Zero Gravity Massage Chair also calibrates the individual unique physique body frame and adjusts itself accordingly. The speed, intensity, location and technique can be adjusted to the individual's preferences. There is also this neat accupoint program which can used to relief particular parts of the body for relaxation. The soothing heat feature and foot massage can also be customized to any preference.

Human Touch is the creators of the best products for foot massage and pain, chairs for body massage. It is ideal for those who suffer from any kind of body ache or pain like Daddy and Mommy. Human Touch is the best gift for the always stressed-out, over-worked, achy and tired. Maybe it would be a great gift for both of my grandparents. Catching Up

Mommy's Post

I'm sorry but I've just been too busy to write or forward tags. I know I've been tagged a few times and I've been trying really hard to get them posted but time really never permits. Having a hyper active tot in the house doesn't help.

It seems like I've been squeezing all my housework and errands to when Vikram is sleeping. Vikram doesn't really take long naps. It's almost that Vikram needs constant attention or maybe it's just me being paranoid about it.

Now I understand when someone says when the kid is being too quiet is when something is wrong. Vikram quietly moves himself under the sofa or table and starts chewing on them. When given enough motivation i.e. my cellphone, Vikram can be across the room within seconds. Talk about being motivated. I did try the same with his colorful toys and it didn't motivate him as much. My tech junkie kid. Haha!

Christmas is around the corner. It's pretty stressful. Diwali was easier to handle I think. The weather is also getting colder and colder. These days taking Vikram out is like bundling up an Eskimo. Vikram is getting really good at fighting back when it's time to wear his winter jacket. Vikram doesn't really like them as he really can't move. Those jackets are really thick.

I'm trying really hard with introducing new tastes to Vikram. So far so good. Nowadays, when we go out for dinner, Vikram whines when we don't let him try our food. He has this big sad puppy eyed look on him you just can't ignore. It's fun watching him react to all these different types of food.

It's quite the experience watching him grow. Will try blog more if I ever get the time. The photography class I've been taking this semester will be over this weekend so I should have a little bit more of free time for other stuff.

OpticsPlanet

Christmas is around the corner. I'm expecting loads of colorful things this year. Everyone just watch the labels and lead content in them.

Mommy and I have been working really hard behind Daddy back to get Daddy the perfect Christmas gift. night vision has the biggest bag of goodies for the gift needs. night vision is the Internet retail leader in optics. There is a huge selection of quality brand name binoculars, telescopes, sunglasses, goggles, prescription goggle, rifle scopes, range finder, spotting scopes, flashlight, microscope and much more.

night vision also an extensive selection of riflescope for avid hunters and outdoorsman. Daddy loves the outdoors so I might just get him a rifle scope for Christmas. Daddy is always talking about camping and climbing. Well, if Daddy isn’t really into that anymore I could just get him a telescope or a binocular or even a radar gun. I wonder what a radar gun could be used for?

The best part of the night vision is that all their products come with 100% satisfaction guarantee and free ground shipping on all order of $29.95 or more.

The best gift ideas or best sellers or their guarantee and their really cool blog are only the start to finding the best Christmas gifts this year.

Crawling

I call it crawling. Daddy calls it wannabe crawler. Mommy just thinks it funny. You tell me. So it's good practice right. I've got to start somewhere and I think this is a good one. It's very difficult coordinating my feet and hands. Nobody told me that growing up was difficult. I guess it's true when everytime Mommy says kids don't come with manuals. Tough life, huh? Tell me about it. Not looking forward to the standing up and walking part. It's much easier getting Mommy or Daddy to carry me around.

Pay Day Loans

What is a Pay Day Loan? I asked Mommy this because I see a lot of advertisements about it. Mommy explained that it's a way to help consumers get a cash advance based on they pay check. Makes sense? Well, Faxless Payday Loans is of these companies which helps consumers get cash between paychecks without a credit check. It's basically a small short-term loan that can range between $100 up to $1,500. The money can be easily deposited and repaid from the checking account based on mutual agreements between the lender and borrower.

Faxless Payday Loans a good website to check out if you're interested in quick cash loans in case of an emergency. It definitely helps untangle from a sticky or unpleasant situation.

Holiday Season Pictures (Part 2)

I think Mommy is on a roll. Mommy has way too many pictures of me. I can't move anywhere any without having a camera on my face. Mommy! You have to stop doing this to me. Some of these pictures turned out pretty Mommy! I also finally convinced Mommy that Mommy should take a black & white picture with me. I think Mommy is very camera shy. Mommy made a few more pictures just for me this time. In reality it's actually for the portfolio for the photography class. At least Mommy picked me to be her "subject".

My Christmas List

Christmas is around the corner and I've decided to write about what I would really like this Christmas. Colorful boxes and chewable toys are definitely a must. I love chewing on everything. If it moves it has to be light and manageable. I don't like heavy toys. They also must be colorful and something I can stuff into my mouth. Mommy and Daddy think I need a new car seat. I've overgrown the one I already have. So I have to upgrade to a bigger one. I would also love to have a train set. The old-fashion one so I can have it running around the Christmas tree this year.

Picture will be posted on my next post. Mommy has some new ones of me and I think these ones are really good.

Trusted Tours and Attractions

The holiday season is here. This is my first one. My first Christmas and first time seeing snow. Mommy and Daddy have been really busy trying to get vacation sorted out for this holiday season. Mommy is relatively still new in the country and so am I. We have a lot of choices to pick from.

Daddy found this really cool website San Diego on the Internet. Trusted Tours and Attractions offer discounted tickets to the best sightseeing tours in the Key West, San Diego and Savannah. Attractions like the San Diego Zoo to the city-wide excursions on their famous Old Town Trolley tours. Trusted Tours is a great source for activities during the winter.

I would love to visit the San Diego Zoo. I've heard so many good stories about the zoo. There is also that Golden Gate Bridge I really would like to visit. San Diego has a lot of attractions especially for infants like me. I think I should start talking Daddy into going to San Diego this winter so I can see the animals in the Zoo. Maybe we could even hop into one of that famous Old Town Trolley and listen to the history of San Diego.

I would suggest anyone who is really interested should subscribe to the e-newsletter with Trusted Tours and Attractions and keep updated with the latest travel news.

Holiday Season Pictures

It's the holiday seasons and Mommy has been busy getting pictures organized. We celebrated Diwali last weekend and Mommy shot a few pictures of me wearing Indian traditional costumes. I'll post the pictures another day. Thank you to Ayya, Ayya and Periamma for sending me those clothes. Mommy's pictures are pretty good. These are the pictures taken for Mommy's photography class portfolio (black & white) and the color pictures were taken at a portrait studio.

Happy Holiday Season to everyone. Happy Diwali / Deepavali. Happy Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas everyone.

November

I'm 6 months now. I've been to the portrait studios to take pictures and Mommy has also been busy taking black & white pictures of me for the holiday season. I'm thinking if anyone wants a copy of these pictures please email Mommy as soon as possible.

Mommy has been busy trying to recover from the weather changing. Sometimes it gets a little too windy. I'm afraid I might fly off. It's been pretty quiet after Akiko left. It's just Mommy, Daddy and me at home. It's sometimes too quiet I fall asleep. Mommy doesn't like going out anymore because it gets really cold at night. I don't mind either because I don't like being dressed up in so many layers.

I've been working really hard on my turning and crawling. Mommy's cringing because Mommy's yet to get a video of me doing all the wonderful stunts. It's not that interesting anyway. I heard a lot of babies to this as a hobby.

Everyone thinks I've got Mommy wrapped around my fingers. Ha.. Ha.. Yeah I do. Don't tell Mommy but I know how to get her attention very easily. With Daddy I have to use different tricks. Mommy has been busy introducing me to different types of baby food. I feel so adult-ish eating out of a spoon. I think they are the best tasting food ever. I like my fruit juice cold without ice.

I have a baby high chair at home now. Mommy and Daddy bought it for me a few weeks ago. Sometimes Daddy lets me sit at the table. It makes me feel like a big kid doing all this stuff.

Mommy has promised to get pictures of me up by next week.

Konichiwa

I'm learning a new language this week. Mommy and Daddy's friend from Japan is here. Akiko used to be roommates with Mommy in Sydney. Mommy has been very busy with Akiko lately. I barely see Mommy these days. We're always rushing out somewhere! Mommy! The weather is cold. I don't like it very much. Can we do something at home? Where I can sleep in your cozy warm bed?

Last Friday we were at the airport to pick up Akiko. Mommy thought she had lost Akiko when everyone in the flight was out except her. Panic moment for Mommy! Aki said she had an emergency bathroom visit :) I also made a few friends. I've mastered the techniques of screaming. I've realized that screaming gets lot things done. Daddy is always funny when I scream. Daddy's also going shhhhh....shhhhhh.....shhhhhhhh. I just scream more. We had dinner at Chipotle's. Mommy favorite hang out. Ayya! I remembered that it was also your favorite food. Mommy let me try some the burritos. I only got to try the rice. Good stuff!!

I went for another parade on Saturday. My crazy Mommy woke me up early just so I can get ready and fall back asleep in the car. It was a long ride there. I slept most of it. Oh yeah! We got in so early. Mommy misunderstood the time so we were there one hour early. Mommy is starting to forget a lot these days. I hope one of these days she doesn't forget me! The parade was good. It was very cold that morning and Mommy dressed me up in shorts. My Mommy is definitely not watching the weather forecast these days. Anyway, I'll stop bashing Mommy because Mommy does everything for me. I slept the rest of the parade on Grandma-G. The football game (It was American Football and not soccer) was intense. I got bored watching it so I slept a little bit. It was starting to get really warm too.

Since we were a little too early. We were hanging out the Union Building drinking coffee.

Akiko and me waiting for the parade to start.

At the football game looking overly excited about something I can't remember.

We had brunch with Grandma-G and Lise. It was my favorite breakfast place. I was so tired I slept through most of breakfast. After that we headed out to the plaza so we could show Akiko some of the tourist places in Kansas City. It was very windy so we ended up at the museum nearby.

Mommy was having a bad hair day. The wind was styling it really weird.

At the museum with a mud horse. It wasn't even a real horse like what I saw at the parade the other day.

I had my 2nd shots of immunizations on Monday. I'm always happy going to the docs but I don't like the shots they give me. It hurts a lot. Then we were off to take more pictures of me at a portrait studio. Mommy said they were for Christmas so everyone can have a picture of me on their fridge door.

Goofing around with Daddy after taking the pictures at the studio.

Me, me & more of me

Mommy made me pose again this time with some semi-winter clothing. This time around I didn't mind posing for Mommy. It was about time anyway. Mommy has been so busy with the photography class that Mommy has almost forgotten to take pictures of me.

Let's do the train dance first Mommy before we take any pictures. Daddy get the drums rolling. We need to practice.

Mommy said stop and look up so I stopped by dancing and looked at her.

Time for posing. Oh yeah, I'm wearing my cowboy boots. A little weird combination but it looked good.

I'm shy Mommy. Daddy is making fun of me again. Tell him to stop.

One last smile. I'll make this a good one so Mommy can send to everyone in the family.

Tech Junkie

So Mommy and Daddy says that I started young. For those who don't get it... I already have a cellphone in my pocket.

I Scream

Here is a sample of my daily doings. I do really well to keep myself and others around me entertained. Oh yeah! That's me holding my bottle all by myself :)

Seasons

It's fall here now. No... No... It’s fall as in autumn. Here in the US we call it fall. Everywhere else in the world I think its called autumn. Don't ask me why. Everything in the US is so special and unique. Hehe.. We're different from everyone else.

Everyone in the family is down with the flu bug. I think Mommy sounds so sexy. Daddy not so much. I've learnt to maximize the usage of my lungs. I have screaming/yelling competitions with Mommy just to see who can be louder. Mommy said one of these days Mommy will upload the video of my screaming tantrums. I think it's just hilarious watching everyone panic when I start especially at the restaurants.

I don't like the cold weather. I've got to dress up in layers. I can't chew on my hands and eat my toes anymore. They are constantly cold all the time. I heard Daddy say it will get worse; the weather I mean. Mommy is as usual panicking as this would be my first winter. Mommy! You make me sounds like I'm a little baby. I'm a tough boy ok. I’ll survive my first winter. Just make sure I'm all covered up with a thermal blanket :)

I think mixed fruit juice is the best thing ever invented in the baby food aisle. Better than apple juice, ayya! Mommy has started feeding me solids. Whatever that means? I mean solids? The weird green looking thing I'm being fed? It's all liquid anyway. Why do they call it solid? I mean why? Why? I have so many questions running through my head right now. Mommy calls it green beans. I overheard Mommy telling Daddy that it's just so weird this baby food. Sometimes if I'm well behaved when we go out. Mommy will let me try her food. Usually it's some plain white squished rice or squished vegetables. Everyone don't panic; Mommy is very careful about what I get to eat. Mommy is more paranoid than what Mommy claims to be.

Daddy feeds me rice cereal with banana in the mornings. It's yummy stuff but ever since Mommy introduced me to mixed juice, the rice cereal has taken a back seat. Usually it's wartime when Daddy feeds me. I've got Daddy all wrapped up in my fingers. Shhhh! Don't let Daddy know ok. Daddy tries really hard to feed me. I'm getting really good at pushing all the food out and blowing bubbles with them. I have to make sure Daddy smells like rice cereal, right? When it's Mommy's turn to feed me Mommy makes sure I eat. I can't do my tricks with her. Mommy is seasoned in that. I think Mommy used to feed my cousins Aarthi and Arun when they were younger.

Happy Birthday Ayya and Arun. Both of them share the same birthday. How cool is that? I hope to see loads of pictures and I hope Arun likes the birthday gift I got him :)

Quarter-Big-Kid

Curious? I asked myself that too. I'm officially 5 months today. Seems like I've been here forever. Mommy didn't celebrate my 5 months. Mommy said it wasn't really necessary to celebrate every month.

I've learnt a lot of new skills in the last two weeks. Mommy introduced apple juice to me. It is so sour. I don't know how adults like to drink that. I heard Mommy saying that Ayya loves his apple juice a lot. Mommy makes me drink apple juice everyday. I've tried all tricks to make Mommy not give me the juice but I think Mommy is more stubborn than me.

Yesterday, Mommy spoon fed me. I felt like I was a big kid. Mommy said I wasn't a big kid yet. I'm still learning. Don't tell Mommy but I've been busy learning to imitate other by chewing my mouth. Mommy was surprised that I was able to swallow my food well without throwing a tantrum. Mommy fed me rice cereal. I hope next week I get to try something tastier.

The biggest skill I've picked up so far is turning. I've learnt that I'm able to turn. I've shown a number of people my trick. I'm yet to show Mommy the trick yet because I know if I do Mommy will be busy taking pictures or videos. I know Mommy is griping behind my back that everyone has seen my new trick except Mommy. I've shown Mommy that I can turn sideways. I can also commando crawl myself out of my play-gym. By the way, Mommy, the carpet needs cleaning. It tastes really yucky.

Daddy thinks I'm teething. Sometimes it's painful. Daddy said I was a boy so I should be learning to tough it out. Daddy said to be macho. So lately, I've been really strong about not crying when it's painful. I think I'm not there yet. Maybe in another month or so the teeth will be coming out. I can't wait to bite everything in sight. I've already tasted all my toys. To answer the question everyone has been asking me; does the color blue taste the same as color yellow or purple or red? The answer is yes. It tastes different.

The New Mommy

Mommy did something I thought Mommy will never do. She cut all the hair she had. I never saw it coming. Mommy was talking a lot about it but Mommy always talk. I guess I'm just too small for anyone to discuss anything important. I heard Daddy talking about the different hairstyles. I thought it was for me. Mommy was talking about me already loosing hair at this age. I can't help it Mommy. I think I better do more research to find out why I'm loosing it.

Anyway, back to the story. I'm sure everyone is eager to see pictures instead me talking away. I think Mommy looks pretty good. Youthful looks? I heard Daddy saying that. Sadly now I don't have any hair to pull when Mommy carries me. Yesterday I overheard Mommy saying that Mommy cut her hair because I was getting my fingers tangled in it. Sorry Mommy! I didn't mean to do that. I'm still busy learning to coordinate my motor skills. It's a tough job. I hope Mommy grows back her hair.

Mommy and the hairdresser (Lenieka) before it all started.

Mommy with her side pose. Just to show off her super long hair which hasn't been cut for a long long time.

The braided hair moments before all that hair disappears.

That's the look I had on me when I saw Leneika cutting Mommy's hair.

The new Mommy. Awww.. Mommy you look good :)

Renaissance Festival

Leave it to my parents to take me to the weirdest events around Kansas City. Last weekend, we went to the Renaissance Festival. What does Renaissance mean? I asked Mommy the same thing because all I saw was food, drinks and loads of funnily dressed people speaking the Queen's English. Mommy said Renaissance was a cultural rebirth that occurred around the 14th to 17th century in Europe (For a better understanding click on that link).

I listened to some really good Scottish music. The drum beat was good. Mommy wanted to buy the CDs but they were a little too expensive for her. Mommy is a little cheap these days. Mommy I still want those toys you promised me other day for writing nice stuff about you. Daddy did some bungee jumping. That was so much fun. I can't wait to grow up to be a big boy to do that.

Men wearing skirts. This phenomenon apparently happens in Scotland. Phew! I wasn't born there.

The extended happy family with Uncle Marty and Aunt Becky. Mommy and Daddy were busy somewhere else. I'll explain in a bit.

This is what Daddy was doing and Mommy was busy taking pictures as usual.

Black & White (Part 2)

Just to clear the confusion. A lot of people having been asking Mommy is the black & white pictures were digital or retouched. No... No... Mommy has been working really hard. I swear. I rarely see her these days. Mommy took an entire roll of black & white film. Mommy learnt the trade of developing film the old fashion way. You know??? (I didn't know until Mommy explained it).

Mommy is in the darkroom where she fumbles in the dark (ha.. ha.. I thought that was funny) and loads the film into a canister to be processed. Mommy then gets to play with some chemicals to wash the film so it can developed. Mommy can't remember the names of the chemicals.

Mommy again then walk into another darkroom to do the printing. Again it's all guess work. Mommy can't really see anything in the dark. Mommy does the enlargement on a special photographic paper and washes it with more chemicals. This is the time when the magic happens. The picture appears out of nowhere. Mommy said it's really cool to watch the pictures develop. In the dark?? Come one, Mommy you're kidding right?

I hope this answers all the doubts people had about my Mommy's talent and creativity (Mommy promised me a new toy if I wrote nice things about her again).

Black & White

Mommy's Post

I'll let the pictures talk for themselves. I took them as an assignment for my photography class. I have more coming in the future.

Vic or V.C.?

I've decided I might want to pursue a career in modelling. Blame Mommy! Mommy's the one who got me into this. So, should I go by the name Vic or V.C.? I need a super sophisticated name so I can sound glamorous. I'm testing the waters right now to see if it will help me save money to buy me more toys when I need them. Excuse the background. Mommy is still learning the techniques of taking artistic pictures.

Shot 1 : No smiling. I was trying for the sexy straight look.

Shot 2 : A little on the angry look like I'm mad at the world or something like that.

Shot 3 : The sexy laughing smile at the right moment.

Shot 4 : The half smile half serious look.

The girlfriend

Pictures of my new-found-girlfriend. Her name is Dyani. She's a a year older than me. I been told that age is just a number. Dyani is my babysitter's daughter. We have the Malaysian connection thing going on. I teach her to squeak and do stuff. Dyani does the same. She helps me hold my bottle and makes sure her Mommy takes care of me well. I'm always surrounded by pretty women.

The whole relationship thing didn't start out well. We were already having our first argument over something which I can't remember (it's called selective memory).

Mommy made us pose. I don't think the both of us were very happy about. We were still not in talking terms.

Then we decided it wasn't worth arguing over silly things and made up. Dyani made a really good joke but I wasn't going to laugh in front of the camera and give Mommy the opportunity to catch me smiling.

Daddy's Birthday

Happy Birthday Daddy! I know I'm a little late in announcing on the blog. I've just been so busy lately with my new-found-girlfriend. I'll explain in detail another time. This post is dedicated to the hardworking Daddy. Daddy bathes me, feeds me and changes me when Mommy is feeling lazy. Sometimes we even play together. Mommy took Daddy to a lot of nice restaurants to eat during Daddy birthday weekend. I'm not complaining this time. Mommy had a lot of good food. Yummy!

Mommy being the almost there bargain hunter bought clothes for me which I can only wear next summer. Mommy!!!! I want clothes which I can wear now! Daddy explained that the summer clothing were on sale because winter is approaching so buy cheap now and use later. Daddy thought I wasn't a trendsetter so it's ok to buy out-of-season clothing. They were really cheap plus I think Mommy isn't done shopping for me yet! Mommy has good taste in dressing me up. I'm glad Mommy does (Ok, Mommy can I have that $50 you promised me if I talked nice about you in my blog?).

Daddy calls me Ewok. It's some character from some old-age movie which Mommy and Daddy used to watch as little kids. Winter clothing is heavy. You have to wear so many layers I think. Winter hasn't really started. Fall/Autumn will starting in a few weeks. Mommy is already starting to dress me up in layers. It's really cold in the mornings when we leave the house.

Daddy hard at work taking really good care of me. I wonder where Mommy disappeared too? This picture was taken at the Malaysian Merdeka (Independence) Day celebrations. I guess Mommy was too busy eating all the good food. Mommy!!!!!! I can't really blame Mommy I guess. Mommy rarely gets to eat Malaysian food.

Shoddy and Tainted Products

Mommy's Post

Lately there are been a lot talk about the shoddy products especially toys coming from China. It worries me a lot there are so many of these products which are cheaply produced and sold all over the world. At first it was one product and the list just kept growing.

Buying anything for Vikram these days has been on high priority list. I check labels to see where it is made and what is contains. It's scary enough that these shoddy products are readily available anywhere. Reading articles about it on the Internet and newspaper doesn't help me worry less. It just stresses me out not knowing what Vikram could be exposed to. Should I be taking away all his toys just because I'm afraid?

This is one the news (Click on it! I'm sure it's worth reading) and another news (almost similar stories but this one is in the US) which made me even more worried than before. As a new parents I guess sometimes I worry too much. Every aspect is scrutinized and over-analyzed.

Christmas is approaching and I'm sure Vikram will be receiving a lot of toys as gifts. I really hope everyone will read the labels and make sure it's safe for any kid to play with. My heart goes out to every parent who has to deal this inconvenience for now. I can't bear the thought of telling any kid not to play with his/her favorite toy just because someone decided to be cheap and use illegal chemicals to cut cost and make more profit.

Mommy & Vikram

I've decided to share my blog with Mommy due to a lot requests from people I don't really know (Hint to Nunu's Mommy). From time to time Mommy will post some serious issues concerning Vikram and Daddy. Sometimes Mommy might actually write something worthwhile. I'll stop bashing Mommy now. For a while Mommy was contemplating getting her own blog but I don't think Mommy has time to manage two blogs. So being the "hero" of the family I told Mommy I'll share my blog. Don't worry I'll be screening Mommy's post from time to time to make sure it's not getting out of hand and everyone can read it.

Anybody has any ideas? I'm thinking we should vote for Mommy to write more about the photography class Mommy is taking this semester. I don't know of anything exciting going on in her life. (Poor Mommy!).

Labor Day

Grandma-G babysat me this Saturday. I was on my best behavior. Daddy told me that Grandma-G used to be a school teacher so I was to be in my best behavior. Don't tell Daddy but Grandma-G and I had so much fun together. Since Grandma-G was here, Mommy and Daddy decided to go out for dinner. We went for a Japanese style Hibachi dinner. That was the best dinner show I've ever been too. Food was flying everywhere. We even had a onion volcanic eruption. I enjoyed watching the chef make the food. I didn't get to eat any. Maybe next time. Mommy didn't get any pictures as Mommy was too busy eating.

Mommy and Daddy took me to the Labor Day Parade on Monday. It was held at the Liberty Memorial. It was my first parade. Mommy woke me up really early to get ready for the parade. Sometimes I wonder if Mommy ever gets any sleep. I know I keep her busy during the night. Mommy is the most comfortable sleeping pillow invented. Anyway, back to the parade.

The was a lot huge trucks. They were so cool but I didn't like the loud horns they had. I was scared of them.

Some pretty cool looking old cars. They look like fun toys.

Another old car. Someday someone will explain the history behind each car.

Leave it to Mommy to dress me up for the occasion. Ok, maybe I do look cute sometimes. I give her credit. Did I tell you I love eating my hands all the time? I think fingers are the best thing invented so far. They taste different all the time.

The army chopper was there. I got to go in and check it out. Pretty cool stuff.

Union Station in Kansas City. That's where you take the train to go anywhere in the US. Daddy said maybe another day Daddy will take me to the Science City when I'm a little older.

Liberty Memorial. We didn't go up. It was too hot so we just walked around the park.

Next week is Daddy's birthday. Mommy up to something. Mommy doesn't share stuff with me anymore. Everytime Mommy says something I write on the blog so Mommy has stopped sharing news with me. I've got to convince Mommy otherwise.

I've also learnt to squeak. Daddy finds it some amusing. Mommy squints her eyes. I don't understand. I kind of like this squeaking. It gets a lot of attention from everyone.

Mommy has been busy taking a lot black & white pictures of me and Daddy. I can't wait for Mommy to develop them herself. I hope Mommy doesn't ruin it while Mommy is busy experimenting at the labs. I can't wait to put them on the blog.
